Aim of the association :
Our association EVA-T (Space Life and Action-Togo) is a humanitarian Togolese born on the initiative of a group of young students. It is an association not for profit and apolitical which abuts the development efforts of the Government, through volunteer missions. It has its headquarters in Lomé and is recognized by the Togolese authorities (Receipt No. 0511/MATDCL-SG-DLPAP-DOCA) in accordance with Law No. 40-484 of 1 July 1901, a law establishing the association. In addition to conducting a humanitarian trip, the volunteer or trainee (all sectors) will discover other people, to exchange ideas and experiences, and live to the rhythm of a culture different from his. EVA-Togo offers the volunteers in Africa, Europe and elsewhere opportunities for voluntary work within its structure. Camp sites from March to May weeks, and courses of study are offered by the association throughout the year. The clusters Environment The actions of the association in this field are focused on "the management of household waste and garbage." Environmental policy are less applied in Togo, we set ourselves the task to carry out awareness campaigns in schools but also at the location of the population in general. Education Sector In this regard, the actions of EVA-based Togo on supporting schools (rehabilitation of school buildings, establishment of canteen, establishment of libraries, sponsors exchange with foreigners) and organized tutoring for students. We also plan to open a community center in a suburb of Lomé. This center will provide recreational and cultural activities oriented environment. The center will also have a library and a multimedia room. Health center Here, the actions involve sensitization in responsible sexuality, hygiene and malaria. The association welcomes interns and place nurses in medical centers of Togo to share in medical practices, knowledge with local nurses. Culture EVA-Togo offers introductory courses in batik art (decorative fabric, t-shirt and making paintings), sculpture on bone and ebony wood, pottery, basketry, percussion (Djembe) and African dances, in collaboration with talented local artists.

Solidarity is not an empty word and we can improve the lives of thousands of people in trouble with the help of your donations. -An old computer may find a new life in a school in a poor country. -The clothes, school supplies are donated to schools mainly in rural areas. -Donations in-kind sponsorship are orphans, and reintegration of street children of school age. -We also as-activity to repare defective school buildings. -Donations will also be used in the construction of public latrines, latrines and ECOSSAN in rural schools. |
