my mother, the Goose This collection of "five-piece Children" was written in its first version for piano 4 hands before being transcribed for orchestra. The original version was written in Paris between September 1908 and April 1910, creating 20 April of that year at the Salle Gaveau in Paris by Jeanne Leleu and Geneviève Durony. Ravel found inspiration in the fairy tales of the 17th century French drawing from the imagination of another Charles Perrault. With the eyes of the child that must listen to these five pieces.
